A few years ago, Dublin born Eddie Daly came to the Algarve to retire. Little did he know then that he would end up working harder than ever but having the time of his life in doing so.

Eddie, along with his partner Brendan seen the possibilities of a
large warehouse at the back of Montechoro Park in Albufeira.
From there, the cement mixers were turning, some bad language was mumbled and plenty sweat was shed but by August 1st 2000 the first pint of Guinness was pulled.

Now Father Ed’s is one of the largest bars in the Algarve with a huge following of people who come back year after year. It entertains all ages with its great family environment, live entertainment every night, huge selection of beers, a tasty menu - with Irish Specials, plenty outdoor seating, a games room, 4 large screen TV’s and most of all THE friendliest staff of any bar in Portugal.
